Kitchen Assistant

Camp Glen Brook is looking for a kitchen assistant to share the work of cooking food grown at our biodynamic farm to feed our Waldorf school groups and our Summer and Winter camps.   This position offers the emerging chef a once-in-a-lifetime chance to participate in a vibrant community and at the same time learn culinary skills through a close mentor relationship. First year salary is $275/week plus room and board, and includes the opportunity to participate in the Camp’s health insurance program.

Qualifications:
•2 years experience in a professional kitchen
•A passion for food and education

Reports to the Culinary Director (other departments by special arrangement)
Employment typically runs from early February to Mid-November.
