Kitchen and Dining Hall Upgrades

Like other parts of campus, our kitchen is continually making strides to be healthier and more sustainable. This year, thanks to the generosity of an incredible anonymous donor, we were able to make two exciting upgrades: transition most of the dining hall and kitchen to stainless steel and upgrade our water filtration system to reverse osmosis.

The move to stainless steel plates, bowl, cups, and serving ware has virtually eliminated the need for plastic in most of the dining hall and kitchen with the added bonus that they are more durable and healthier for long-term use.

Our reverse osmosis system takes our already clean well water and runs it through a series of filters that remove any possible debris, chemicals, or toxins making it some of the best water out there to drink. This clean water is now running out of most of the taps from where people frequently fill water bottles and pitchers for the dining hall.
