March 22 - 24, 2019

Women of all ages will gather at Glen Brook to be refreshed and inspired. Maggie Cahoon will offer Soul Collage and MaryBeth Hallinan will offer singing in the outdoors. You need not consider yourself and artist or a singer to participate and have a fun and meaningful time.

Additionally yoga will be offered each morning before breakfast and there will be plenty of free time to read, write, nap, walk and just be. Please join us for this refreshing, relaxing and rejuvenating weekend.

Don’t hesitate to join us if you just want some unstructured time away, with no demands on your time and delicious farm-to-table meals provided throughout the weekend. All activities are optional.

Soul Collage: Doorway to Your Inner Wisdom

SoulCollage® is an expressive and creative process in which you construct, over time, a personal deck of unique, soul-tending cards. Developed by psychotherapist Seena Frost, SoulCollage® is a doorway to your inner wisdom. This process invites you to give visual and poetic expression to the unique tapestry of your life experiences and to discover and nourish the seeds of your destiny. Using found images, scissors, mat board, and glue, your intuition guides the creation of a unique set of collaged cards that express important aspects of your Self and Soul. When you have a few cards you can start consulting your deck in ways that combine cognitive, practical insights with less tangible intuitive wisdom.

Maggie is a trained SoulCollage® facilitator since 2008, she is actively teaching SoulCollage® workshops in her straw bale Studio-Sanctuary in Marlow, New Hampshire. Below are two Soul Collage “cards” created by Maggie.

Rooted Like Trees: Voices Grounded in Nature

We are, each of us, Fundamentally Harmonic. This workshop will include an exploration into the body which is our instrument! We'll discover and rediscover the beauty of our voices through simple harmonious music, and also learn tricks and tools to unlock and release our authentic sound.

Through gentle play, exploration, singing/chanting, and laughter, in harmony and collaboration with the beautiful surroundings at Glen Brook, participants will be gently guided to sing from the whole body, for a more freeing, open, and revitalized voice. No note reading or prior singing experience required!

Hallinan weaves 30 years of teaching experience and expertise with a profound sense of wonder and excitement in the process of facilitating others to reclaim their own voice. Here is a video that will give you a sense of what it is like to sing guided by MaryBeth, though our program will be somewhat different from her Adventure Singing Camp.
