WSGC 6th Grade Astronomy and Geology Trip Photos 2024

The rock-star 6th graders from WSGC dove into geology and astronomy. They chiseled out rare crystals and minerals at Chickering Mine, scrambled up the mica-dazzled slopes of North Pack Monadnock, and struck flint and steel to build fires by the beaver swamp. Cold nights made for clear skies and fine stargazing, and the students marveled at the rings of Saturn through telescopes. Time spent together on the farm, at the dinner table, and singing by warm wood stoves brought everything together with lots of gratitude for this amazing planet we call home.
