Meet some of our Summer Staff!

Grace Collins
This will be Grace's first summer at Camp Glen Brook-- she comes to us from Rockport, Massachusetts. She has worked as a counselor at her local summer camp for two years and loves hiking, swimming, drawing, and playing violin in her spare time. Grace looks forward to becoming a part of the Glen Brook community and ensuring that every camper has an amazing summer!

Jonas Evaeus
Jonas will be returning for his 9th summer at Glenbrook this year. He looks forward to once again being part of the beautiful Glenbrook community, where children are given the chance to be children and create memories that last a lifetime.
Jonas holds a masters degree in theoretical physics from Imperial College London and teaches math and science to teenagers in a public school in his native Sweden. When he is not busy teaching, he can be found foraging for edibles in the wild, playing soccer or making music with friends.

Sarah Khan
Sarah will be returning for her sixth Glen Brook Summer. Sarah grew up in Detroit, Michigan. She currently lives in Montréal, Québec, where she studies biochemistry at McGill University. She loves laughing, running, and photography. Her favorite ice cream topping is chocolate chips, and if she could have any superpower, she'd be a shape shifter.

Mariah considers Glen Brook her second home, as she has been with us every summer since her fox year in 2006. A foreign language enthusiast, she will be returning fresh from a year abroad in Spain and will be finishing her Spanish studies at Smith College next year. Growing up in Philadelphia, Mariah has always loved the outdoors and especially the water. Her K-12 Waldorf education has helped her find many passions such as handicrafts.

Warren is the Athletic Director and Games teacher at the Great Barrington Rudolf Steiner School in Berkshire County, MA. During his free time he enjoys going on adventures with his son, Colten, who will be an Otter this summer, flying airplanes, and playing basketball. Warren is an outdoor enthusiast and is excited to spend his first summer at Glenbrook since 2001 when he was a C.I.T with Tom Davies!

Erin Tourgee
Erin is excited to be be back for her second summer running our art studio. Erin grew up nearby and spent her early childhood playing and exploring in the local forests and ponds with her older brothers. In high school Erin pursued art and developed a passion for teaching art, as well. Now, a student at Rhode Island College, Erin spends every day in the art studio working on photos, sculptures, drawings, jewelry, design projects, and more Erin also spends time helping out in local elementary, middle, and high schools. She’s excited to return to Camp to help campers use art as a way to express themselves and how they are feeling about the world around them.

Keith Worthy
Keith is a proud graduate of the Garden City Waldorf school class of 1982. He has been going to Camp Glen Brook, his favorite place on earth, since 1974 as a camper, for 26 summers since 1981 as a counselor , and for 15 winter camps since 2004. He lives in Springfield Massachusetts with his wife and 5 children, and has worked for the Springfield Public schools for the past 25 years as a school Administrator. Keith loves what he does, but for Keith all roads always seem to lead back to Glen Brook.  Keith has a lifetime of fond memories from Camp and the people he has worked and played with there are his family for life. Keith is always grateful for every moment and experience he can have at Glen Brook, and says "It has shaped and guided my personal and Professional lives for the better." We always love to have Keith’s enthusiasm for games played with good sportsmanship, and his genuine enthusiasm for everything that happens at Camp!
