Summer Employment at Camp Glen Brook
Glen Brook has a staff of about 30 people for summer camp. While about 2/3 of our staff return each year, we normally have openings for a few instructors, support staff and/or cabin counselors.
Most staff positions require applicants to be at least 18 years of age. Some supervisory or positions requiring driving require applicants to be at least 21 years of age. Previous camp work experience, knowledge of Waldorf education, and/or experience working with children are a plus in consideration.
We have openings for staff with the following skills and certifications (if applicable): Swimming, canoeing & kayaking, archery, tennis, arts & crafts, woodworking, English riding, mountain biking, nature, outdoor skills, ropes course, music & drama, general sports, photography, rocketry
Other positions: food service (chefs, assistants, dining room), nurse, maintenance

To Apply:
1) Read the FAQs* carefully and look over our website to see if this would be a good fit
2) Print the Application*, complete it and send it to us.
3) Print out at least 2 Reference Forms* , sign the release, and have your references send them directly to us.
4) Print the Voluntary Disclosure form and the Back Ground check authorization form (these one can be filled out on line or printed and mailed in). Complete them and return them to us with your application.
5) We will let you know when your application has arrived and schedule an initial phone interview.
