2-21 Winter Camp Update 1
Winter Camp 2012 is off to a great start. The past day and a half have been full of ice skating and hockey; creating nature journals in the art studio; hiking and playing hiding games in the woods; board games and evening singing in the living room by the warmth of the wood stove; basketball, tag, and dodgeball; tree pruning and woodworking in the woodshop; cooking classes with Caitie and Nate; and of course, eating the delicious food prepared by Chefs Ash, Kristen, Jennifer, and Matt. We are looking forward to tubing tomorrow, and many more adventures before the week is out!
Beyond all these activities, however, is the wonderful feeling of coming together as a camp and starting to feel like a great big family. This community, more than anything, is what makes Glen Brook the special place that it is, and is why a Winter Camp without snow is just as much fun as ever.
