The Waldorf School of Garden City's 10th Grade class just spent a week hiking in the White Mountains. They worked as a group to overcome personal challenges as they summited Mounts Lafayette and Lincoln, gazed at the breathtaking views, and learned about the geology of New England. Eight of the students elected to wake up at 4:30am in order to see the sunrise from Mount Lafayette, treating themselves to a stunning display of nature's majesty. It will be a full year and a half before we see this class here again; we hope that their accomplishments and the teamwork they displayed here will continue to inspire them until their 11th grade trip.
