This week the 6th grade from the Waldorf School of Garden City joined us for a wonderful week studying geology.  Between a wonderful hike in the rain at Madame Sherri's forest where we saw a variety of unique geologic formations, to finding rocks and going on a scavenger hunt around Glen Brook, it was a fun week outside.  The students also learned fire building, and had a dance party in our "Phoenix Barn", the only barn we know of that has a built-in disco ball.  It was such a fun and busy week that we forgot to take photos, save the class photo on the last day.
