Weather conditions have been perfect, low-30s during the day with bright sunshine. The ice for skating is firm, the snow on the hillside crisp, making sledding fast but not icy. The Reindeer boys tapped a bunch of maple trees yesterday, wearing snow shoes to cross the waist-deep snow. Yesterday afternoon the Muskrat boys and Bobcat girls played ice hockey--tie score--and in the evening many of the groups are auditioning for Friday's Winter Music Festival, an annual variety show that features campers and counselors singing, playing instruments, and performing skits. Another bright day of sunshine is in the forecast for today.
