February 18th, 2010

In the past two days since the snow fell, we've all been scurrying around like hungry thrill seekers, furiously building enormous snow forts, soaring off jumps with our sleds and snowboards (don't worry, parents: jumps require helmets!), building snowmen, and, of course, tubing at the local slope Granite Gorge. The sun is shining brilliantly today, the snow perfect for packing and stacking. Meanwhile, the cooking groups and artists and musicians are churning out good work in the Main House. Lasagna, ravioli, salad, and homemade bread (made by the Bobcats and Arctic Foxes) for lunch today. The few pangs of homesickness of the first two days have dissipated. More outdoor activities scheduled for this afternoon, and tomorrow features both Glen Brook Olympics and Music Night.
