Mark Stehlik
Program Director, 2011
Mark served two summers as a trip leader here at Camp Glen Brook, most recently in 2010 as leader of the Falcon Outdoor Leadership Program. Mark's good humor and enthusiasm for working with young people in the outdoors is a wonderful asset to the Glen Brook staff. A cum laude graduate of Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, Mark majored in philosophy and was an outing club expedition leader. He was recipient of the 2009 Barlow Enrichment Grant for travel in India and is a student in the Kamana Naturalist Program for naturalist skills and wilderness awareness. Mark comes to us most recently from the Chewonki Foundation in Wiscasset, Maine, where he was a wilderness educator. Mark enjoys rock climbing, canoeing and kayaking, and backpacking. "Glen Brook is a community where learning happens through fun and adventure," Mark says. "I'm so excited to be part of this wonderful place."
