Caitie Hicks

Caitie was born and raised in Georgia, but comes to Camp Glen Brook most recently from Maine and Alaska, where she worked on several small scale, organic vegetable farms. Her interest in food and farming began at a young age on visits to her grandparents' commercial greenhouses in Wisconsin. While working as a cook for The National Outdoor Leadership School in the Tetons and Alaska, this interest developed into a passion for food. Now, having recently completed her degree in English and Studio Art at The University of Vermont, Caitie is thrilled to be pursuing a different sort of life and learning outside of the classroom. Caitie is excited about working, learning, and playing alongside the campers and students at Camp Glen Brook.
