Weaving Waldorf Education with traditional New England camping since 1946.

PARENTS:  It is a big emotional and financial investment to send your kids to camp.  Is this the camp for you?

Glen Brook is a small camp with about 75 campers--plenty of personal attention and a close family, but not a place with hundreds of new faces.

Glen Brook believes in a well-rounded experience--campers participate in a whole host of activities in sports, arts and crafts, hiking and canoeing, and nature activities..  While the 12 and 13 year-olds may specialize to a certain extent and choose special electives, we are not a specialty camp.

Glen Brook incorporates ideas from Waldorf education into its program.  While we are not sectarian and do not promote any particular religion in camp, we do recognize that both humans and the world around us have a spiritual core.  We try to work  according to our understanding of the developing child.  When possible, the same counselor carries a group from summer to summer.  We hope that truth, goodness, and beauty are never too far from what we are doing.
